The honest starting point
SEO has not died, but it has narrowed. The tactics that still move rankings in 2026 are unglamorous: technical health, genuinely useful content that answers specific questions, and earned mentions from real sites.
Technical health still pays first
Before content, make sure the basics are right: fast pages, clean indexing, one canonical version of every page, working mobile layout, and a sitemap that matches reality. Fixing these is unglamorous and also the cheapest win available.
Content that answers one question well
Pages written to answer a specific question - thoroughly and without padding - consistently outperform broad "guide" pages. One clear question per page, answered in the first screen, then expanded with detail.
Search intent beats keyword volume
A keyword with huge volume and the wrong intent sends you traffic that never converts. A smaller keyword with buying intent is usually worth more. We map every target keyword to the stage of the buying journey before writing anything.
Links, but earned ones
Relevant mentions from industry sites, local media, directories, and partners still matter. What does not work reliably: bulk guest posts on irrelevant blogs and link networks. They create risk more than value.
What to stop doing
Keyword-stuffed pages, mass-produced thin articles, and chasing algorithm rumors daily. None of these compound; they just consume budget.
A realistic timeline
Technical fixes: weeks. Content and authority: three to six months of consistent work. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either lucky or selling something.
